The implementation of the new fishsim 2 records system has started today, also a php catchlog uploader has been written for trophy fishsim. This is live, but will not update the trophy results yet. It may still be useful to check the contents of the catchlog online if needed by anyone !
Still a lot of work to do on the records, at the moment they are still hosted on fishsim.net but this site interfaces the data there and transfers it, which is a bit of overkill. Eventually it will all be hosted here and the new system made live, still a fair way off yet. The whole point of having this site up and live at the moment is to test CA with it !! I seem to have been side-tracked somewhat and now back whacking away at fishsim 2 coding ! It will be all worthwhile in the end though when everything is centrally stored and easier to manage - ( keep telling yourself that Jase and eventually you'll believe it :-) )
| 5th Nov 2008 | Moved hosts !!! |
Due to continual MySQL problems with the previous hosts, this site now has been transferred to a new host !! Transferring the site is only the beginning though and to be honest, the easiest part. Updating everything is going to take a while, in particular the scripts, most of the Perl scripts are being written in PhP which is proving time consuming.
Also the end has been signalled for www.fishsim.net,after 7 years, it's time to move on and put everything to do with fishsim simulators on one site. Nothing will be lost though, everything is being transferred over and updated at the same time. The trophy challenge and 2008 challenge scripts have already been re-written for this site, although not functional yet, they are at a stage where they are ready to go when the handover happens.

A links section has been added to the "Home" menu options to allow the promotion of useful sites for CA, Fishsim and anything else that readers may find interesting.
| 19th August 2007 | Fishing Simulator one section updated |
The Fishing Simulator one section has been updated to include downloads to the latest version and also record catches. Even though it is old now, some people may still find this useful and interesting. There is still more to be added to this section yet including the full manual and all known addons for FS1.

| 17th August 2007 | Fantasy football section added |
There is now a section on the community menu option for the fishsimmers fantasy football league. This is free to join and has a chance of monthly prizes. Anyone is welcome !

There are now 4 categories on the forum :
- General
- Compleat angler
- Fishing Simulator version two
- Fishing Simulator version one
I don't think the FS1 forum is going to be busy, you never know though, it can still be downloaded from winsite and various shareware sites as it used to be shareware. The only problem I think though is that it's not compatible with XP without some tweeking, if anyone has any interest in FS1 I still have all the addons for it as well as records etc, and will upload them on request.

Another approx 20 games have been added to the game arcade in the community section, including Ballo which I think is particularly good. I think there are a few more game packs available that can be installed, so with more time will download and install these.

This website has now been born and created on the 4th August 2007. It's not fully functional yet, and it is expected to a week or two longer yet to complete. This has been rushed through due to the requirement for a forum to help with the development of compleat angler. This can be found in the community section along with a selection of games to enjoy also.
